Grants

THE GRANT PROCESS

The Foundation makes its grants to worthy non-profit programs on July 1st of each year. Applications for grants must be filed with the Foundation on or before May 1st of the fiscal year preceding the proposed grant period. The grant package is typically available for downloading by March 1st; please see the link below. The Foundation's Board of Directors meets in late May or early June to review the grant applications, and amount of available funds, to decide which applications will be accepted and to determine what level of funding will be awarded to the recipients. Entities seeking a grant from the Foundation are required to submit a written IOLTA grant application package to the Foundation by the deadline. No exceptions will be made for late applications. Please note that all applications must be accompanied by an audited financial statement by a certified public accountant.
